How about we vote for someone who can protect womens rights AND not destroy our economy? Vote libertarian!

If only libertarian candidates were actually libertarian, and not just extreme right-wingers co-opting libertarian rhetoric in order to win over non-religious Republicans.

The libertarians whom I know don’t believe in the ERA or in Title IX or in anything designed to level the playing field, so to speak. They seem to believe that a completely free marketplace will make sexism irrelevant. (Strangely, all the libertarians I know are men!) Talking about women’s rights is just a vehicle for them to promote free-market capitalism. And really, we tried laissez-faire business policy before. It led to a wonderful time called the Great Depression.

But please, by all means, vote libertarian and split the Republican vote to help Obama get re-elected. This is a most excellent plan.
